Book 2 in the series did NOT disappoint! My best way to describe the series is these books are in the genre of dystopian, romance, and full of action. I even felt inspired by the care and love our humankind is capable of showing, a kindness that comes from deep within. If you like books like THE HUNGER GAMES, &/or TV/Movies like THE 100 (Netflix), TERMINATOR, with an easy-to-read, great style, and well-developed characters you'll grow to care for, (even if some have become half 'machine' and want to kill you), these books are for you. I am a fan of the Idyllic series and the writing style of the author and looking forward to the next book in the series.
