I enjoyed The Fall of Titan and stayed immersed in the novel for two reasons: the cast of characters and lots of twists, turns and action! The author did an excellent job of developing each character just enough for me to understand their motivations and personalities without going overboard, and the storyline/plot kept me wanting to turn the page. This is a Sci-Fi, Space novel that read to me like I was watching a good movie, like Star Trek or even Star Wars. I liked the powerful female figures who came across as role models. I appreciated there was no gratuitous sex or violence, and the entire story seemed real and believable - which is scary since the plot involves a sinister alien species. The ending leaves open the door for book 2 which I will definitely read.
