My husband and I were staying in a 300 year-old farmhouse in the middle of nowhere in Tuscany. After a few things happened, I was convinced the place was haunted and it just had an overall ‘bad vibe’. So, we left days earlier than planned (and paid) and our first stop was Caino, this amazing small and intimate restaurant with Michelin stars (2 in 2021) and fabulous food and hospitality. We decided to stay the night in the same small building - right above the restaurant - and when we left early the next morning, the chef arranged a takeaway selection of breads, pastries and coffee for our journey to southern Italy. What an amazing experience and can’t wait to return.
