The key to a great Negroni is finding a gin-vermouth pairing that complements, rather than overpowers, the bitter, bold flavors of Campari. My husband prefers Vodka which is delicious. I recommend Noilly-Prat Vermouth for the perfect balance of flavours - just 1/1/1 of each (Gin or Vodka/Campari/Noilly-Prat) and you have the perfect negroni.
