I LOVED IT! It was even BETTER than the first book. Though, PLEASE read book one because it’s also awesome and will set you up to know what is going on in book 2, which is amazing.
The narrative was interesting and I felt immersed in the mind - and world - of Zoe, watching as her life transitioned and changed both externally and internally (no spoilers). There were ups and downs, surprises, and some of the questions I had after reading book one became more clear to me in book two, which was what I hoped for. And, as with the first book, Junction: Time's Ticking, I had to keep turning the pages to know what would happen next. The book is suspenseful, thrilling, gripping and has a strong coming-of-age aspect that I really enjoyed with the character, Zoe.
If you haven't read book one yet - HURRY UP - and then read book two and be ready for a roller-coaster ride.
