I really enjoyed Dear Pink. It's the story of a woman who had her heart broken in a relationship and then her best friend dies of cancer. The 'twist' is her best friend leaves her a bucket list that pushes the main character, Hannah, out of her comfort zone, and ultimately leads her to finding a man that she wants to love, but instead, runs from.
I really liked all the characters in the book, and I LOL'd at the part with the crazy cat lady who's trying to seduce Gabe, a vet. Hannah and Gabe have a believable attraction to each other and Hannah continues to find ways to sabotage a good thing because of her fear of being hurt again, and also her fear of being exposed as a fraud since many of the things Gabe admires are things she is doing only because of her dead friend's 'bucket list'. This is actually one of the better rom-com's I've read in a while, and from two INDIE authors! (Way to go, Girls!) I highly recommend for a beach read, summer read, or anytime you just want to escape into the fun, 'pink bike', love-story world of two highly relatable and likeable people.
