Ken Follett does it again! Even though this book was long, I loved every page and every word. I felt immersed in the period and the story and loved the characters. He has such a knack for telling a great story while passing on accurate historical references, and I always feel more educated. Follett vividly brings the brutality between Catholics and Protestants and Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary to life, and the characters are incredibly well-developed, even with the multitude of personalities and people in the book. Highly recommend.
